Optima Health Text Messaging Terms and Conditions

By checking the “text” box(es) in your Optima Health Member Preference Center to sign up for the Optima Health text messaging service or texting a campaign opt-in keyword to the short code 59270, and by confirming your opt-in via text message reply, you expressly consent to receiving text messages from Optima Health at the telephone number associated with your member record. Text messages can only be sent to mobile phones. These messages may contain protected health information (PHI) about you so you should only consent if you are comfortable receiving PHI on your mobile phone. You may opt-out of these communications at any time. To receive Optima Health text messages, you must be a resident of the United States and at least 18 years of age. By opting into Optima Health text messaging services, you agree only to send keyword responses, as prompted by Optima Health, to this short code. You acknowledge that non-keyword responses will not be monitored.

Is there a cost associated with this text messaging service?

Optima imposes no charges for the Optima Health text notifications; however, message and data rates may apply depending on the terms and conditions of your mobile phone contract. Optima Health does not have any control over these rates, nor any other obligations you may have to your mobile carrier in connection with your text messaging service. Please contact your mobile service provider about any charges.

How often will I receive messages from Optima Health?

Optima Health offers informational text messages regarding your opted-in membership preferences, including (but not limited to) information regarding general wellness, programs, and/or general health information. If you opt-in to receive text messages from Optima Health, you will receive approximately four (4) text messages per month. Frequency of text messages per month may vary based on your membership preferences in the Optima Health Preference Center.

How can I opt-out of receiving text messages?

To opt-out of Optima Health text messages, text STOP at any time to the short code 59270, or call 1-877-552-7401. After you submit a request to opt-out, you will receive one final text message from Optima Health confirming that you will no longer receive text messages from that short code. No additional text messages will be sent unless you re-activate your enrollment in the Optima Health text messaging service.

What is your Privacy Policy?

Optima Health places high priority to the privacy of our users. The privacy policy can be viewed at optimahealth.com/company/policies. The following is provided to address any concerns you may have regarding our text message services:

  • Optima Health will never, under any circumstances, sell or distribute your mobile phone number to third parties or Optima Health clients for whom you have not approved.
  • Optima Health will never directly market to you any services for which you have not opted in, either by cell phone, text message, or email.
  • Optima Health will never distribute any personal information about you, including your phone number, name, billing information or any other piece of identifying information.

Changes to Terms and Conditions

Optima Health may revise, modify, or amend these text messaging terms and conditions at any time. Any such revision, modification, or amendment shall take effect when it is posted to the Optima Health website.
